Job Summary:
We are seeking a detailoriented and dependable Kit Builder to join our team. The Kit Builder is responsible for populating cases with various components and materials into prepackaged kits according to specifications and customer requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail manual dexterity and the ability to follow detailed instructions to ensure that each kit meets quality standards. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform essential functions in ERP system related to populating kits and inventory storage i.e. picking tickets bin transfers and labeling.
- Identify and pull parts from stock.
- Populate kit case with appropriate part and quantity while visually inspecting parts for damage.
- Properly package and label parts for kit population.
- Identify count and label parts to be routed to stock.
- Properly label kit cases and attach proper paperwork for inspection.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to use computers and computer systems such as Outlook and ERP system.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to count high quantities of small parts with small part markings.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide using whole numbers.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.
Education and Experience:
- At least two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of the two.
- Previous experience in kitting.
- Previous experience in quality.
- High school diploma or GED.
