Head of Finance mfd TastyUrban

TastyUrban is an innovative multibrand food franchise startup. We work with internationally acclaimed Chefs to develop best in market deliveryfirst food concepts which are licensed out to local restaurant partners. TastyUrban is looking for a Head of Finance to join us at this exciting stage. You will help us grow and elevate our business across Germany and internationally. You will help drive our financial strategy planning and management as we scale our business.

The Head of Finance (m/f/d) will report into the CFO and will contribute to the companys financial strategy and planning. This role is responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company conducting risk management and providing strategic recommendations to ensure the financial health and growth of the company.

Tasks

• Financial Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement financial strategies forecasts and plans to support the companys growth objectives. Collaborate with the executive team to develop longterm strategic initiatives.

• Financial Management and Reporting:

Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements budgets and forecasts. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders including investors and board members. Monitor financial performance and implement improvements to optimize financial operations.

• Budgeting and Cost Control:

Lead the budgeting process including preparation monitoring and variance analysis. Identify costsaving opportunities and implement strategies to enhance financial efficiency.

• Fundraising and Investor Relations:

Assist in fundraising efforts including preparing investment materials and engaging with potential investors. Manage relationships with existing investors and provide regular updates on financial performance and business milestones.

• Risk Management and Compliance:

Develop and oversee financial risk management policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies. Oversee internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferably in a startup or highgrowth environment.
• Proven experience in financial planning analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance fundraising and investor relations.
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g. QuickBooks Excel financial modeling software).
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and influence decisionmaking.
