Job Description
Our client is a Minnesota company who manufactures and markets many branded consumer products. Their history dates to back the mid 1800s.
Do you have a passion for the creation of food and the packaging of food
Our client has an opportunity on the 1st shift for a Integrated Operations Technician.
This role is in the Pet department meat rooms focusing primarily on grinding dicing handling and processing raw and cooked meat each day. This room is airconditioned.
- Safely operate equipment
- Perform setup operations and disassembly related to the Pet platform
- Equipment sanitation & basic equipment set up activities
- Basic technical skills: product process and/or packaging
- Support other platforms and departments as needed
- Knowledge and understanding of food safety requirements
- Perform risk assessments
- Basic analytical tests basic troubleshooting and skill building on basic unit operations
- Ability to be flexible as needed as work needs shift
- Equipment sanitation & basic equipment set up activities
- Basic technical skills: product process and/or packaging
Schedule: MonFri 1st shift
Salary: $21/ hr (contract)

Qualifications
- High School Degree Required!
- 35 years of directly relatable experience and / or 2Year Degree Preferred!
- Basic computer/technology skills (MSOffice Products etc)
- Steel Toe Boots/ Shoes Required!
- Strong communication skills
- Basic understanding of food safety and human safety
- Ability to lift and transport ingredients or equipment up to 55lbs
- Ability to work in hot/ warm climate conditions
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
- The position is subject to passing a background check and drug screen
