Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients physical conditions and capabilities.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans to improve mobility strength and overall wellness.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians nurses occupational therapists and speech therapists to provide wellrounded care.
- Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to support recovery and independence.
- Accurately document patient progress treatment interventions and outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings and engage in continuous education to stay current with physical therapy advancements.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid California Physical Therapy license.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patientfocused approach to care.
Schedule:
- Day shifts available with flexibility based on patient needs and your availability.
- 13week contract with the possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs.
