Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Creates a wellinformed Microsoft M365 Power Platforms and Azure strategy.
- Caretaker of the lowcode Power Platforms strategy communicate and coordinate effort of CoE governance team and ensures the Microsoft Power Platform strategy is aligned with the organizational goals.
- Administers and manages the Microsoft Power Platform per the established environmental strategy setting up policies managing users managing capacity and licensing.
- Continuously updates the CoE releases and manages the TxDOT Governance Hub for Power Platform.
- Implements corresponding Power Platform changes to support and ensures that new designs conform to standards and guidelines; are consistent normalized and perform as required; and are secure from unauthorized access or update.
- Reviews changes realizing their impacts on M365 and Power Platform architecture and ensures that the impacts are communicated to appropriate parties.
- Establishes measures to chart progress related to the completeness and quality for enterprise usage; and to improve performance.
- Communicate and collaborate in a professional and timely manner.
- Performs related work as assigned.
- Work closely with the Cloud Team for extended capability through the use of Azure services deployed with TxDOT Power Platform landing zone
- Provide mentorship coaching and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Promote a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement through the establishment of a community of practice.
- Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with organizational policies security standards and regulatory requirements as they relate to Power Platform.
Minimum Years of Experience Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on Microsoft technologies.
- 4 7 years of SharePoint Online and/or Microsoft Power Platform administration.
- 4 7 years of cloud computing SaaS and enterprise IT architecture.
- 4 7 years of experience with Azure services and integration with other Microsoft products.
