Job Description
- Design and deliver tailored lesson plans that meet the needs of English Language Learners (ELL) while adhering to state and school standards.
- Provide oneonone and small group instruction focusing on speaking listening reading and writing skills.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to seamlessly integrate language support into the wider curriculum.
- Create a welcoming inclusive classroom that motivates students and nurtures their growth.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly adjusting teaching strategies to ensure continued language development.
Requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with ESL Endorsement.
- Bachelors degree in Education TESOL or related field (Master s degree is a plus).
- Experience working with English Language Learners in a school setting is preferred.
