Coverage Type: Clinical only

Patient Volume: 1416

Support Staff: 1 NP/PA 5 MAs 7 Office Staff

W/ 1 FT provider a PAC & occasional shifts by employed GI.

Duties:

See more complicated liver & GI cases in addition to new referrals.

All standard clinic responsibilities including pathology review referrals & answering questions the PA might have.

Required Procedures:

Pill Cam (required to interpret studies) peg tube exchange Hemoccult test & Lidocaine injections.

Upper GI endoscopy: with biopsy with foreign body removal with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser) With injection of varices

Sigmoidoscopy: Flexible & Rigid

Colonoscopy: w/ biopsy & w/ excision of polyp

Trauma Level: III

EMR: Epic

Other Info:

If locum would prefer a hybrid schedule to include clinic shifts & procedure shifts (colonoscopy/endoscopy performed under conscious sedation at hospital) this is a possibility.

Not required to supervise APPs.

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Temporary Privileges available: Yes

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active WA License or IMLC

BLS ACLS
