The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our organization. This position requires a detailoriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will manage administrative tasks assist with project coordination and ensure efficient office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to management and staff.
- Manage calendars schedule meetings and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external communications including emails memos and reports.
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
- Prepare edit and proofread documents presentations and reports for accuracy and clarity.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
- Oversee office supplies inventory and order materials as needed.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees.
- Coordinate office events meetings and training sessions.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers providing professional and courteous assistance.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain databases and assist in data entry and management tasks.
- Generate reports and summaries as required.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Post Matric Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration Office Management).
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative support role preferably in a corporate or office environment.
