Job Description
We are hiring Clinical Nurse Manager for one of the best Nursing Home in Co Cork who is passionate about improving the quality of life of their residents and place a strong importance on social physical and mental stimulation.
They deliver exceptional experiences with a range of leisure activities and external excursions tailored around their resident s interests and needs.
It is their mission to ensure that residents feel valued and loved.
Key Responsibilities
- It is essential to provide clinical and professional leadership to the care team while delivering direct resident care
- Ensure that the care provided to residents and their families aligns with the mission vision values and strategic plan of the Nursing Home.
- It is imperative to recognize each resident as an individual prioritizing their rights needs and comfort throughout the care process.
- Building relationships with residents that promote autonomy informed choice and evidencebased decisionmaking is crucial. Resident safety privacy dignity and rights must always be respected to maintain quality care.
- Our focus is on maximizing residents ability to make personal choices and maintain their sense of identity. Involving residents in decisionmaking whenever possible is key to providing personcentered care.
- The operation of the home must be inclusive and respectful of each residents age gender orientation disability family status civil status race religious beliefs and ethnic and cultural background.
Requirements
- A registered General Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse on the Register of Nurses held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Minimum of 2 year post graduate experience with experience of working at a Senior Staff Nurse / CNM level

- Post Graduate Diploma in Gerontology
- Management qualifications
- Gerontology experience
- Experience in Psycho Geriatric Nursing Care/Psychiatry/Adult Disabled.
- Have an indepth knowledge of the ageing process.
