In this role, you will be responsible for developing, facilitating, and managing sales training programs for Customer Facing Teams on both an ad-hoc and scheduled basis. Your goal is to deliver high-quality training experiences that utilize adult-learning techniques and tools to actively engage learners, enhancing knowledge retention and skill application.
A crucial part of your responsibilities will involve reviewing and measuring the effectiveness of sales programs through qualitative and quantitative indicators. This data-driven approach will help identify areas for improvement and ensure that the training is meeting its objectives. You will also collaborate with cross-functional team leadership to pinpoint skill gaps, review progress, and align on shared success metrics, fostering a cohesive approach to sales training across the organization.
Collaboration with the Education team is essential for designing and updating sales training materials within the Keepit Success Academy (KSA). You will ensure these materials reflect the latest business updates and maintain a professional standard. Staying informed about industry trends, tools, processes, and competitive insights will allow you to incorporate relevant information into training programs, keeping content fresh and impactful.
Providing one-on-one coaching to members of the customer-facing team will supplement the core sales training curriculum. This personalized approach will help address specific challenges and foster individual growth. Additionally, you will manage communications on the Keepit Community platform, analyzing initial training needs to tailor future programs effectively. A willingness to travel 25-50% is also a key aspect of this role, allowing you to engage directly with teams across various locations.
Qualifications
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, whether you are a recent graduate, a bootcamp completer, or possess some commercial experience. A strong command of English, along with a thoughtful, structured, and transparent communication style—both verbal and written—is essential.
You should have a proven track record of at least 3 years in sales training within a SaaS or B2B environment, complemented by strong business acumen. A deep understanding of sales methodologies and customer engagement processes, particularly in B2B SaaS contexts, is critical. Familiarity with qualification approaches like MEDDPICC will be highly advantageous.
Experience with content management and learning management systems is necessary, as you will be leveraging these tools to enhance the training experience. Your communication and presentation skills should be robust enough to facilitate both in-person and virtual learning environments. As a sales coach, your ability to identify skill gaps and change management opportunities will empower you to make relevant recommendations for improvement, driving the overall success of our sales training initiatives.
