Are you passionate about supporting handson learning in Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) We are seeking a dedicated TAS Assistant to join our vibrant educational team. This role offers the chance to assist teachers in delivering engaging practical lessons while fostering a positive learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
- Order and manage stock for the TAS Department.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and resources.
- Organise and calculate food orders for Food Technology practical lessons.
- Ensure food handling preparation and storage follows WHS and food safety standards.
- Assist with laundry tasks and maintain hygiene in food preparation areas.
- Help prepare materials for student projects in wood metal and foodrelated tasks.
- Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for safety compliance.
- Regular cleaning of food preparation rooms wood and metal workshops.
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety standards.
- Experience in handling materials and equipment in educational settings is advantageous.
- Relevant qualifications and academic transcripts.
- Working with Children Check (please include your date of birth for verification purposes).
