As a Valet Parking Attendant you will set the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and service.
- Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous efficient and enthusiastic valet parking services or directions to public parking.
- Assisting in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion inclusive of parking and retrieving vehicles.
- Maintains strict controls and inventory of vehicles and keys including registering in OValet and completing 360 walk documenting vehicle condition.
- Provide the removal of items from stored vehicles if required and other miscellaneous services requested by the guest or Guest Services Leader in a timely manner
- Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority otherwise refer to the supervisor on duty.
- When requested or anticipated provide guests with information and answers to questions about Hotel facilities meeting functions dining facilities local transportation alternatives and tourist attractions.
- Strict adherence to Fairmont Service Standard Expectations as it relates to Valet Parking
Qualifications :
- G Class Ontario Drivers License (or equivalent) with no infractions is a requirement.
- Ability to operate all types of vehicles (Manual & Automatic) is a requirement.
- Must be available for weekend shifts (Saturday AND Sunday) as well as one other evening during the week.
- A service focused personality with good command of the English language.
