Job Description
- Install maintain and repair electrical systems wiring and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and identify faults in wiring switches outlets and other components.
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and hazards.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate electrical work and minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
- Keep accurate records of electrical installations repairs and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends regulations and best practices in electrical work.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents injuries and electrical hazards.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and address electrical issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical systems wiring and components including switches outlets circuit breakers and transformers.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints diagrams and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and tools such as multimeters voltage testers and cable trackers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose electrical problems accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights in confined spaces and in various weather conditions.
- Certification or vocational training in electrical work is required.
