As a Chef de Rang in a Michelin star restaurant you will be vital in providing an extraordinary dining experience that meets the restaurants esteemed standards. Your duties will cover a variety of tasks aimed at guaranteeing guests receive exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a friendly professional helpful and courteous service to the customer at all times and the same to your colleagues.
- Present guests with the restaurant menu advising of availability daily specials and promotions.
- Provide effective delivery of food and drinks from BOH to guests in a timely manner.
- Collect clean and maintain equipment for all aspects of mise en place and service.
- Ensure constant coverage on the floor and guest engagement.
- Be present for briefings carried out before each service period.
- Attend trainings that will benefit your performance and knowledge.
- Ensure complete and thorough knowledge of the food and beverage items on the restaurant menus.
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness presentation of furnishings and the proper setup of the floor buffet kitchen pass and dispense areas.
- Report any problems and repairs to your manager.
- Be flexible and carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capacity as assigned including redeployment to alternative departments as required to meet the demands of business and customer service needs.
- Inform the managers of guests comments or requirements if you cannot personally resolve them immediately.
