Job Description
In Room Dining Waiter
At Sofitel Bahrain we are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic waiter to elevate our In Room Dining experience.

What you will be doing:
- Directly involved in the order taking and order placing process while dealing with guest requests and orders courteously efficiently and promptly
- To answer phone within 3 rings and follow phone etiquette according to Sofitel standards
- Know all menus and on going promotions in the outlet by heart and gives recommendations to guests upon request
- Trains the IRD team
- To provide high standard of quality and followup to ensure proper delivery time on time as well as speedy service
- To ensure that all operating standards are well understood in order to achieve the level of service established in the Departmental Operations Manual
- To ensure that the room service area is kept clean and organized at all times
- Attend regular training session in line with the departmental SOPs i.e. guest care product knowledge grooming standards telephone manners etc
- Perform tasks as per instructions from the immediate supervisor and as per duty schedule
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Youve completed a hotel & catering course and have gained a minimum of 2 years of similar experience
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
