Job Description
Job Summary: The Waiter/Waitress will provide excellent service to guests in our dining establishments ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role requires a strong understanding of menu offerings excellent communication skills and the ability to handle various guest requests and situations with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner providing menu recommendations and answering any questions about food and beverages.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to guests ensuring timely delivery and attention to presentation and quality.
Operational Duties:
- Set up and maintain dining areas including tables chairs and service stations ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally aiming to resolve issues to the guests satisfaction.
- Process payments including handling cash and credit card transactions and provide accurate change or receipts.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and communication.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed providing support and guidance to ensure they understand service standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Hygiene and Safety:
- Adhere to health and safety regulations including proper food handling sanitation and personal hygiene practices.
- Ensure that all equipment and utensils are clean and in good working condition.
Upselling and Recommendations:
- Suggest and upsell menu items including specials and promotions to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Stay informed about the menu including ingredients preparation methods and potential allergens to provide accurate information to guests.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service including wine and cocktail offerings is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Professional demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.

- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
