What youll do
We are looking for a Cost Controller to join the preopening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Finance youll support the Finance department on the financial operations of the hotel while managing hotel assets and ensuring a centralized accounting environment.
- Manage and record goods deliveries.
- Record of F&B costs into the General Ledger System.
- Adhere to all cost control procedures (where applicable create new procedures).
- Update costings.
- Ensure compliance with documentation/authorisation processes.
- Process F&B accruals.
- Monitor inventories of F&B to increase inventory turnover.
- Participate in month end reporting procedures in relation to F&B stock and other tasks.
- Carry out weekly stock takes and evaluating potentials.
- Help with and maintain purchasing agreements.
- Maintain purchase system and ensure all items are up to date.
- To check and verify all reconciled inventory reports with book balance actual count and unit costs. Troubleshoot if necessary.
- To be sure all the cost reports daily monthly and yearly are prepared and submitted on time.
Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in hospitality business administration or related field.
- 2 years of experience in a hotels accounting department.
- Ability to multitask work in a fastpaced environment and have a highlevel attention to detail.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
