What youll do
We are looking for a Goods Receiver to join the preopening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Purchasing Manager youll be responsible for managing and administering the entire process of receiving all goods at the hotel.
- Collaborate with all hotel departments to manage incoming goods efficiently coordinating deliveries with proper teams.
- Make sure all deliveries match the purchase orders and hotel standards checking for damages and organizing stock for distribution to different departments refusing acceptance of damaged unacceptable or incorrect items.
- Maintain records of all deliveries received and sent including food temperature logs for items like meat fish and dairy.
- Keep the loading bay clean safe and secure and follow food safety and handling rules in all foodrelated areas.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address any issues related to deliveries.
- Receive and record goods in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in the inventory process.
Qualifications :
What we are looking for...
- Bachelors degree in hospitality business administration or related field.
- 2 years of experience in a hotels accounting department.
- Ability to multitask work in a fastpaced environment and have a highlevel attention to detail.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- You take ownership of important issues solve problems and make effective decisions.
