Luxury and tranquility in an authentic setting await our Guests at a Fairmont Spa. As a Locker Room Spa Attendant you will participate in creating an optimal Spa experience to our guests. This position is critical in maintaining the cleanliness of Spa including the locker rooms the fitness center and the pool area and ensuring all amenities are stocked at all times and this while engaging with guests to provide personalized service.
Reporting to the Director of Spa responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and guests during the arrival and departure process and during the treatment.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance.
- Interact and communicate effectively with guests colleagues and management team
- Provide an exceptional experience to all guests promptly handling any guest comments complaints or concerns with discretion and urgency
- Maintain linen inventory to and from housekeeping on a scheduled basis
- Replenish towels and restock all amenities in the locker rooms the fitness center and the pool area regularly throughout the shift
- Ensure all available lockers consistently have the appropriate amenities such as robe and slippers.
- Direct Guests to appointments
- Assist guests with the use of the steam room
- Maintain the facility in peak sanitary condition at all times and report any equipment deficiencies immediately to engineering.
- Maintain cleanliness of the steam rooms
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Maintain all brand and quality luxury service standards
- Maintain consistency in accordance to Forbes/LQA and Fairmont standards
- Conduct selfaudits and participate in the feedback review to improve service levels.
- Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times and that all colleagues are committed to working safely
- Ensure confidentiality of all guest sensitive information at all times.
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Use proper chemicals and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Previous Spa or Hospitality experience preferred
- Previous customer experience required
- CPR and First Aid certification an asset
- Ability to genuine engage and focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal organizational and problemsolving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable

- Must have a professional image and personality
