- Lead and supervise the daytoday operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service
- Provide onthespot coaching and counseling as needed to ensure all standards of cleanliness are being upheld
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
- Ensure colleagues are informed daily about priorities to personalize service
- Actively participate in daily briefing daily warm up and department meetings
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Serve as back up and support to Room Attendants House persons and other Housekeeping roles when needed
- Training of new housekeeping employees
- Perform inspections of cleaned and vacant rooms to ensure high quality standards are met.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity.
- Experience in a Housekeeping environment an asset
- Service focused personality is essential
- Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities and the ability to lead by example
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) and asset
