Reporting to the Restaurant & Bar Assistant Manager you will be responsible for leading mentoring and motivating your team ensuring they deliver professional efficient and friendly service. You will be assisting the Restaurant & Bar Manager with the daytoday operations in The Quartier Bar & Restaurant InRoom Dining and Conferencing/Events. Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide for guests and patrons an experience and environment they feel meets their expectations
- Familiarise yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
- Liaise with customers and Chef/kitchen brigade to ensure service times are adhered to.
- Ensure revenue for the shift is accounted for with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities.
- Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following Hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.
- Set up systems to protect and maintain control of restaurant and conference service equipment correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.
- Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
Qualifications :
- A true people person who is able to create connections with our guests and residents quickly.
- You will have passion and wellrounded knowledge of the latest food and wine trends.
- Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
- Availability to work a rotating roster.
- Lead by example and be motivated to take ownership of this role and progress within our company.
