We are seeking an experienced and passionate Landscape Supervisor to oversee the design maintenance and enhancement of the resorts outdoor spaces. What you will be doing:
- Supervise the day to day landscaping operation submitting weekly schedules and editing payroll timesheets
- Continuously inspect areas throughout the resort to immediately resolve safety concerns
- Oversee routine maintenance of gardens lawns and outdoor facilities ensuring high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics.
- Assist in training colleagues in all areas of landscaping & maintenance.
- Respond to guest feedback and inquiries regarding landscaping and outdoor areas.
- Direct and assist the operation on special projects or daily assignments as needed.
- Assist in new landscape design developing and managing the landscape maintenance budget ensuring costeffective practices and resource allocation.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Proven experience in landscape management or horticulture preferably in a hospitality or resort setting or a related degree
- Proficient with Technology: computer skills/typing MS office procurement systems payroll work order management systems
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of local plants landscaping techniques and a basic understanding of irrigation systems and repairs
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and manage physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be a good team player with a positive attitude and desire to learn
- Good understanding of people place process and technology within the built environment
- Must be a problem solver
