- Assist and oversee the daytoday operations of the Front Office team
- Lead and monitor team members with true leadership ability that motivates and inspires the entire team
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotels operations in the absence of the Precinct General Manager/Senior Managers maintaining a high level of customer service at all times
- Make decisions that achieve winwin outcomes for both the Hotel and its guests
- Follow Emergency Communication procedures ensuring that media inquiries are addressed solely by the nominated spokesperson
Qualifications :
You must have:
- Must have minimum 1 year experience working as an Assistant Manager (Duty Manager) in a medium to large 5 Star hotel
- Must have a diploma or higher in Hospitality or Tourism Management
- A current and valid Managers Certificate and a First Aid Certificate
- Must have a Full New Zealand Drivers License.
- Proven leadership experience in a Front Office operations role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Office and Opera
- The ambition as a team leader who develops drives and coaches the team bringing a unique aspect of your individuality into everyday tasks
- Flexibility to work a varied roster including mornings nights weekends and public holidays
