Summary
- The QC (intugent) Technician is responsible for providing continuous quality control support to the Production
- Team at our ISO Plants. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where safety quality service and cost are the
- highest priorities. The Intugent Technician will perform specific quality control activities to support manufacturing
- operations. The primary focus is finished product testing specifically compressive strength and thickness testing.
- Additionally they will provide support to the QC technicians and production teams by preparing and testing quality
- control samples.
Essential Duties
- Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform InProcess Sampling & Testing
- Perform Finished Good Sampling & Testing
- Perform Compression Sampling & Testing
- Perform Thickness Sampling & Testing
- Prepare samples for lab testing following standard operating and safety procedures
- Locate and retrieve bundles/boards from the warehouse for sampling and testing when the manufacturing line is not running
- Support the Technical and the Quality team with projects or trial work as needed by assisting with quality control sampling and testing
- Communicate effectively with production operators and leaders
- Assure all activities are performed safely
- Escalate to production leads and managers when quality control results are abnormal or outside of specification.
- Complete retesting as instructed by manager
- Maintain housekeeping in quality control work areas
- Additional projects and tasks may be assigned as needed
Technical Knowledge / Skills
- Intermediate finite math and analytical skills
- Intermediate proficiency in GSuite
- Familiar with standard manufacturing concepts practices and procedures
- Preferred experience with quality control testing in a manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements
- Ability to read and concentrate via computer data entry typing and proofreading

- Must continuously have the ability to differentiate colors precisely
- Required to reach with hands and arms and stoop kneel or crouch
- Ability to perform detailed testing processes in various process conditions
- Frequent use of eye hand and finger coordination enabling the use of testing equipment and machinery
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Education / Experience
- High school diploma required or GED equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of quality experience in a fastpaced manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience supporting production and business goals
- Demonstrated experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Forklift experience is preferred
