Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: Doctors Office Single Physician Family Practice Macon Georgia
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dedicated healthcare team at for our client a single physician family practice located in Macon GA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in phlebotomy and EKG procedures as well as a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures.

Perform phlebotomy services including venipuncture and capillary draws.
-
Conduct EKG tests and accurately record results.
-
Obtain and document patient vitals and medical histories.
-
Prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness for patients.

Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
-
Provide patient education and support addressing questions and concerns.
-
Maintain accurate patient records and enter data into the electronic health records (EHR) system.

Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and office policies.
Qualifications:
-
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
-
Proven experience in phlebotomy and performing EKGs.
-
Proficient in obtaining patient vital signs both manually and with electronic equipment

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in using EHR systems Nexgen
-
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment.
