Job Advertisement: Year 6 Teacher (Permanent)
Start Date: January 2025
Location: Wandsworth
Salary: Up to M6
Are you passionate about shaping young minds and preparing students for their next big step This is a permanent fulltime position ideal for an enthusiastic teacher who is ready to make a lasting impact.
The Role:
As a Year 6 teacher you will:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support students as they prepare for their SATs and transition to secondary school.
- Foster a positive inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect curiosity and a love of learning.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress providing feedback to students parents and school leadership.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver exciting crosscurricular projects.
What Were Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Proven experience in KS2 particularly Year 6 is desirable.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment expectations for SATs.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to the wellbeing and development of every child.
