Job Description

SEN Teacher Inclusive School inRichmond

A lovely school in Richmond is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to work with small groups of children with specific learning difficulties. Join a supportive team and make a real difference in their lives.

Position: SEN Teacher
Type: Fulltime Permanent
Location: Richmond London

School Information:
The school is dedicated to providing an inclusive education for students with specific learning difficulties. With a strong focus on individualised learning and a supportive environment the school aims to empower every student to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach small groups of children with specific learning difficulties adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other staff.
  • Monitor and assess student progress providing feedback to students and parents.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience in SEN education.
  • Strong understanding of specific learning difficulties and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • DBS check required.
