Job Description

Our client school is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a brilliant school in Cambridgeshire from May 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their educational journey. As a Reception Teacher you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons supporting students social and emotional development and fostering a love for learning. This role provides an excellent chance to work in collaboration with a supportive team of educators and contribute to the overall success of the school.

Reception Teacher Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Reception curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students social and emotional development
  • Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Assess and monitor students progress providing regular feedback to students parents and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of students achievements and behaviour
  • Communicate effectively with students parents and colleagues ensuring a strong partnership between home and school

Reception Teacher requirements:

  • QTS EYTS PGCE and strong academic record
  • Bachelors degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception) or equivalent
  • Indepth knowledge and understanding of the Reception curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students parents and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students learning and development
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students
