Job Description

VHIR offers a cardiologist position within the Cardiovascular Diseases group.

We are looking for a cardiologist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to annotate and validate echocardiograms and provide clinical knowledge as part of the Tartaglia project an innovative research project using artificial intelligence.


Education and qualifications:

Required:
  • Medicine Degree
  • Cardiology specialist
  • Additional training in echocardiography

Desired:
  • Fluency in English

Experience and knowledge:
Required:
  • Experience with advanced echocardiographic imaging techniques
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and software for medical imaging
  • Research experience in cardiology or related fields
  • Experience in clinical echocardiography

Desired:
  • Conference presentation

Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Clinical validation of echocardiographic studies
  • Identify and correct echocardiography analysis data
  • Quantitative annotation of echocardiography images
  • Close collaboration with the technical researchers of the cardiovascular imaging unit

Labour conditions:

  • Fulltime position: 40h/week
  • Starting date: Immediate
  • Gross annual salary: 22.82322. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
  • Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
