Job Description
Our dynamic comprehensive school in West London seeks a talented and enthusiastic Psychology teacher to join our vibrant faculty. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Psychology lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of exploration critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of psychological concepts theories and research methods.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Social Sciences department and contribute to schoolwide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Psychology or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Psychology and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
