You will play a key role in ensuring the financial success and sustainability of the hotel by providing strategic financial guidance and implementing sound financial practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Identify optimal cost effective use of the resources and educate the team on the same.
People Management: Establish and maintain seamless coordination & cooperation with all departments of the hotel to ensure maximum cooperation productivity and guest service. Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure that all personnel are kept well informed of departments objectives and policies.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including monthly financial statements variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and corporate headquarters.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow projections and liquidity requirements optimize cash resources and implement cash management strategies to ensure adequate funding for preopening activities and ongoing operations.
- Cost Control: Implement cost control measures and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and maximize profitability while maintaining highquality standards.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard assets prevent fraud and ensure compliance with company policies accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Capital Expenditure Management: Manage capital expenditure projects evaluate investment opportunities and coordinate with project teams to ensure costeffective allocation of resources and timely completion of projects.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team members providing guidance coaching and support to foster their professional development and ensure high performance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field; Masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles preferably in the hospitality industry or a related field with at least 1 year in a managerial capacity.
- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial principles practices and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data analyze trends and develop actionable insights.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve organizational goals.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management stakeholders and external partners.
