Job Description
Our thriving girls school in West London seeks a talented and enthusiastic female PE teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and empower young women to achieve their full potential in physical education.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to the needs of girls across all year groups.
- Cultivate a supportive and empowering learning environment that fosters a love of physical activity teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
- Guide students in developing their physical skills fitness levels and understanding of sports and games.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the PE department and contribute to schoolwide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in PE or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for PE and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a singlesex learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
