What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Being a team player in assisting the Room Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
- Offer professional friendly and engaging service to all guests and responding timely to any special requests
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Respond timely to guests special requests for miscellaneous items ie: cribs cots extra towels etc.
- Collect dirty linen garbage and recyclables from Room Attendants carts and closets
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Aspects of Position:
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs
- Frequent kneeling pushing pulling lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs being professional and welcoming
