Reporting to the Director of Talent & Culture responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Supervises and administers the smooth and efficient operations of various Talent & Culture functions by ensuring all processes are in place constantly reviewing the process and making all necessary amendments to be in line with the changing requirements of the Hotel.
- Participates and supports the recruitment process by taking charge of personnel requisitions replacements promotions transfers deployment and resignations with reference to the payroll and headcount budget.
- Plans and ensures timely use of different recruitment methods such as media advertisement through hospitality institutions agencies executive search and internal notices to meet the manpower needs of the Hotel
- Ensures exit interviews are conducted and use feedback from interviews to recommend team member retention
- Ensures successful team member events such as Annual party Long Service Awards Retirees Farewell Team Members Communication Meetings etc.
- Ensures all supplies necessary for the smooth operation of the department is available through regular General Store Requisition or Purchase Order
- Ensures communication of Talent & Culture related matters by updating the T&C notice boards regularly
- Support translations between foreign staff and Japanese staff
- Maximizes the use of the T&C systems providing all necessary reports as required
- Translate T&Crelated contracts memorandums of understanding and other documents into English as needed
- Assists in the preparation of the annual T&C Budget and closely monitors expenses to be in line with the budget
- Complies with Hotel and Departmental Policies & Procedures at all times
- Assist the Training functions in their execution of their duties

- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Fluent in both English and Japanese language (speak read and write)
- Experience in human resources operation visas and labor laws is preferred
- Typing and computer skills (Microsoft outlook etc)
