Pipefitter Per Diem offered

We are looking for experienced pipefitters with five or more years as an Oil & Gas Commercial Nuclear and/or Marine experience. Located in Newport News Virginia ( Also looking for Pipewelders Electricians Machinists NDT and other trades so send me your resume if you are looking for work.)Pay varies depending on experience up to $38 an hour and $120 a day per diem for days worked. This is an opportunity for work lasting years!Please send me your resume to ASAPRequirements:Must be able to read and interpret ship piping drawings.Experienced fitting carbon steel stainless steel and coppernickel piping.End prep piping by hand and/or with a Portsmouth Machine.Knowledge in installing pipe hangers prep and fitup backing rings fit welded sockets fit brazed joints prep V bevels and bend pipe from a template with the use of a hand blender.MUST be able to read a ruler using inches and tenths.Must be very familiar with using a grinder.Experience in the fabrication of various details and assemblies from drawings/Blueprints.Must be able to pass a Hair follicle drug test (3month look back)For security reasons and to meet the legal requirements of this contract to fill certain positions we are required to ensure that any personnel performing work for this client are U.S. Citizens.Citizenship Status DiscriminationUnder the antidiscrimination provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act employers are not allowed to limit job applicants or hires to U.S. citizens unless they are required to do so by federal state or local laws or federal contracts that require specific positions to be filled only by U.S. citizens.
