Job Description: Food and Beverage Team Leader (Afternoon Shift)
As a Food and Beverage Team Leader at Mercure Perth you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual who can lead our team during afternoon shifts ensuring our outlets operate smoothly and efficiently. This position requires weekend availability.
In this role you will:
- Lead and supervise the food and beverage team during afternoon shifts ensuring high standards of service.
- Oversee the setup service and breakdown of dining areas ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Provide training and support to team members fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Ensure menu knowledge is uptodate including changes and promotions and communicate this effectively to the team.
- Manage guest inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Ensure the proper handling and settlement of customer accounts using our POS system.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness hygiene and food safety throughout the outlets.
- Promote Mercure Perth by driving revenue and implementing strategies to improve service efficiency.
- Bring enthusiasm creativity and a positive attitude to the team inspiring staff to do their best.
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate events and special functions as needed.
Qualifications :
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage operations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work afternoon shifts and weekends is essential as we operate 7 days a week.
