Job Description
- Answer InRoom Dining phone within 3 rings using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.
- Operate the computer system for ordertaking check printing closing out checks and printing reports.
- Maintain knowledge of all menus (including Daily Specials Alternative Cuisine wine list etc.) and of the service of food and beverage items offered by the department and the hotel.
- Up sell to guests as well as confirm their order before thanking them.
- Complete side work as assigned.
- Record all guest charges gratuities and cash transactions accurately.
- Coordinate between the server and kitchen for smooth coordinated service.
- Work Authorization in the U.S.
Qualifications :
- Six months minimum food and beverage experience.
- Working knowledge of food wines spirits.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Computer skills are helpful but not required.
