Job Description
Security Manager
As the Security Manager for our preopening resort hotel you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and protection of our guests staff and property. Your strategic leadership and handson experience in security operations will be instrumental in establishing and implementing comprehensive security measures. Key Responsibilities:
- Security Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with hotel objectives. Assess potential risks and design proactive security measures to mitigate threats.
- Team Leadership: Recruit train and lead a team of security personnel ensuring highperformance standards. Provide guidance support and mentorship to foster a culture of excellence.
- Security Protocols and Policies: Establish and enforce security protocols policies and procedures. Regularly review and update security measures to address emerging threats.
- Surveillance Systems Oversight: Oversee the operation and maintenance of CCTV and surveillance systems. Ensure effective monitoring activities and response protocols.
- Incident Response and Investigations: Lead responses to security incidents coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct thorough investigations of securityrelated incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaboration with Law Enforcement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement agencies. Collaborate on joint security initiatives and coordinate responses.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans including evacuation procedures. Conduct regular drills and training sessions to ensure staff readiness.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training to security personnel on the latest security technologies and best practices. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the security team.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Security Management Criminal Justice or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years minimum in Security Management 5 years minimum in Facility/Workplace security. Proven leadership experience in security preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and decisionmaking abilities. Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute strategic security plans.
- Regulatory Compliance: Indepth knowledge of local and national security regulations.
- Physical Aspects of Position: Ability to oversee and respond to security operations effectively.
