As the InRoom Dining Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the inroom dining providing personalised service that meets the highest luxury standards. Ensure that guests receive impeccable service quality food and beverages and an exceptional dining experience in the comfort of their rooms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms maintaining a standard of luxury and attention to detail.
- Anticipate guest needs and personalise the service to create memorable dining experiences.
- Resolve guest complaints or special requests in a timely and professional manner ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
- Supervise train and motivate the inroom dining team ensuring they adhere to hotel service standards.
- Conduct preshift meetings to communicate daily priorities special requests or VIP guests.
- Monitor staff performance provide coaching and development opportunities and ensure proper grooming and uniform standards are met.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of inroom dining trays trolleys and service stations ensuring cleanliness and order at all times.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the menu including ingredients and preparation methods to assist staff and respond to guest inquiries.
- Ensure all food and beverage orders are accurately processed and delivered in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures including security measures when delivering to guest rooms.
- Monitor guest feedback and reviews implementing improvements to service where necessary.
- Create the work schedules ensuring appropriate staffing levels for peak service times.
