Job Description

Position: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
Company: EpiHelp AB / Basense
Location: Remote (Sweden)
Contract Type: Fulltime Remote (EquityBased Role Until Funding)
Reports to: President & CEO

At EpiHelp AB our mission is to empower consumers with trusted realtime actionable information through our innovative app basense. Launched as a 24thgeneration application basense combines a social network with an affiliate marketing platform. Users can generate and curate reviews on products services and events creating a robust marketplace powered by communitydriven trust. Our affiliate and shared business model allows ambassadors to earn commissions while driving sales and business growth.

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead our commercial strategy focusing on user growth retention and driving our revenue streams across SaaS fees affiliate commissions and consulting fees. This is an equitybased role until funding is secured offering a unique opportunity to be an integral part of shaping and scaling our business globally.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy Development: Define and execute the overall commercial strategy ensuring the sustainable growth of basense across multiple geographies and verticals.
  • User Growth & Retention: Spearhead global initiatives to drive user acquisition and retention by implementing datadriven strategies and user engagement models.
  • Affiliate & Ambassador Programs: Lead the development and scaling of influencer ambassador and affiliate marketing programs to grow the platforms reach and engagement.
  • Revenue Optimization: Optimize monetization strategies across SaaS affiliate commissions and consulting services ensuring a scalable profitable business model.
  • Branding & Targeting: Oversee the strategic rollout of branding and marketing campaigns tailored to target audiences in different regions and verticals.
  • Market Expansion: Develop market entry strategies for new regions collaborating closely with marketing agencies and local partners to expand basenses user base.
  • Crossfunctional Leadership: Work closely with multiple stakeholders across the companyincluding product marketing sales and technology teamsto ensure alignment and a seamless user experience.
  • DataDriven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to refine user acquisition strategies improve retention rates and drive customer lifetime value (CLV).

Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Proven Leadership: Extensive experience as an executive in commercial roles with a focus on digital marketing B2C business models and scaling usercentric platforms.
  • Affiliate Marketing Expertise: Experience in building and scaling affiliate and influencer marketing programs with a focus on driving sales and building brand trust.
  • GrowthOriented Mindset: Demonstrated success in driving user growth and retention in techdriven platforms ideally in SaaS or appbased ecosystems.
  • Marketing & Sales Integration: Strong understanding of how marketing and sales processes intersect with the ability to leverage both to drive commercial success.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders across various departments to drive cohesive business strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive outcomeoriented mindset with the ability to navigate highrisk highreward startup environments.
  • Innovative Thinking: Ability to conceptualize communicate and grow innovative marketing and commercial applications particularly in social and affiliate networks.
  • Global Experience: Experience working in remote decentralized teams with a global focus especially in highgrowth techdriven environments.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Marketing Business or related fields with strong experience in digital marketing content marketing and SaaS business models.

Step 2: Meeting with Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

  • Purpose: Discuss the alignment between marketing and commercial strategies.

  • Discussion Topics:

  • Review marketing strategies user acquisition and retention goals.

  • Explore potential synergies between commercial and marketing efforts particularly in influencer and affiliate marketing.

  • Deep dive into specific challenges and opportunities in the digital space for basense.

  • Crossdepartmental collaboration and how the CMO and CCO will work together to drive growth.

Step 3: Offer

  • Purpose: Formal offer discussion.

  • Discussion Topics:

  • Review the terms of the equitybased offer.

  • Compensation structure (equitybased until funding with future salary potential).

  • Discussion of the roles expectations and immediate goals upon joining
