Job Description
Company Background:
The hotel with six branches in Johor is a growing establishment committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. Candidates who join this company will be assigned to work at their HQ at Tun Aminah branch.
Salary range: RM6000RM8000 (basic)
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all accounting operations including budgeting financial forecasting and reporting
- Manage the accounting team providing leadership training and mentorship
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial management systems
- Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Lead the annual budgeting and planning process
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal financial regulations
- Coordinate and lead external audits
- Optimize cash flow management and treasury functions
- Collaborate with department heads to improve financial performance and efficiency
- Implement costsaving measures and identify revenue enhancement opportunities
- Oversee accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll processes
- Manage relationships with banks auditors and financial advisors
Job Requirement:
- At least Diploma or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Extensive experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- Proficiency in advanced accounting software and financial management systems
- Strong understanding of hospitality industry financial practices and trends
