Communicating with stakeholders
Quality managers communicate with upper management and customers to maintain quality standards and understand customer expectations. They also provide regular reports on the performance of the quality management system to top management.
Improving quality
Quality managers analyze data to find areas for growth and make plans to improve quality. They also incorporate customer feedback into quality improvement initiatives.
Adhering to legal and safety standards
Quality managers ensure that the company complies with legal health and safety standards.
Leading a team
Quality managers may manage a team of quality analysts and testers. They need strong leadership and management skills to guide their teams towards success.
Other responsibilities include:
Creating and updating product or process specifications
