Job Description

Are you ready to lead a dynamic and innovative team Were seeking a talented and experienced individual to join us as the Plant Manager at our Asphalt Plant. In this critical role youll drive progress and spearhead operations that set new standards in the construction industry.

The Opportunity:

As the Asphalt Assistant Plant Manager youll be at the helm of our operations overseeing the production of highquality asphalt while ensuring excellence in health and safety sustainability and efficiency. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fastpaced environment and is passionate about leading a team toward a sustainable future.



Requirements

Your Role:

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee all plant operations ensuring the production of asphalt meets BSI:9001 specifications.
  • Conduct and review prestart inspections and maintenance activities ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition.
  • Manage plant personnel providing guidance training and support to maintain high operational standards.
  • Utilize control systems to optimize fixed plant operations improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Maintenance and Safety Oversight:

  • Lead the maintenance teams in proactive monitoring and repair of plant equipment.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are rigorously followed fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Monitor aggregate stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to meet production demands.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Optimize plant operations to minimize environmental impact and costs.
  • Ensure efficient loading and scheduling of materials coordinating with logistics to meet production deadlines.
  • Manage data entry and reporting for internal management systems ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Team Development:

  • Mentor and develop team members promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Foster an inclusive work environment where every team member is valued and empowered.

What We re Looking For: Experience: Minimum of 5 years (excluding training) in electronic security and life safety systems with an NSI Gold accredited company. Technical Skills: Proficient in installing, commissioning, maintaining, and fault-finding on various security systems. Knowledge: Familiarity with brands such as Honeywell, Menvier, Texecom, Paxton, Videx, C-Tec, Advanced, Morley, Hikvision, Hanwha, and Avigilon. IT & Networking: Strong understanding of IT, networking, electrical, and electronic principles. Availability: Willingness to join the 24-hour call-out rota. Additional Skills: Self-managed with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good judgment and decision-making skills under time constraints. Excellent vehicle stock control and organizational skills. Adherence to health and safety policies. Proficient in completing audit paperwork and job sheets. Clean driving license and a professional attitude.
