The Marketing Communications Director for Turkey is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing communications strategy that drives conversion among Turkish travelers for Saudi tourism. This role involves a 360degree view of all communications in the Turkish market encompassing campaigns PR brand activations content development social media and influencer engagement. The director will leverage their
expertise in tourism marketing strategy and execution to maximize knowledge and consideration of Saudi
(Leisure Umrah and Umrah Plus) ultimately increasing visitation and indestination spend.
Planning and Strategy
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing communications strategy for the Turkish market aligned with STAs overall objectives and targets.
Identify key target segments and develop tailored messaging and communication approaches for each segment.
Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends consumer insights and competitor activities.
Collaborate with regional and global marketing teams to ensure alignment and synergy in messaging and campaigns.
Budget
Assist in the development and management of the marketing communications budget for Turkey.
Track and report on budget utilization campaign performance and return on investment (ROI).
Ensure that marketing initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Oversee the execution of all marketing communications activities in Egypt including campaigns PR brand activations content development social media and influencer engagement.
Collaborate with agencies and partners to develop and execute creative campaigns that resonate with Turkish travelers.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make datadriven adjustments as needed.
Develop and maintain a strong brand presence for Saudi tourism in the Turkey market.
Identify and leverage opportunities for media coverage and PR exposure.
Build and maintain relationships with key influencers and media outlets in Turkey
Support marketing partner engagement events and roadshows in Turkey as needed.
People Management
This position does not have direct reports.
Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams to achieve STAs goals.
Promote a highperformance crosscollaborative working environment embracing STA s values
General Accountabilities
This is a remote position with the requirement to work from the Turkey representative office.
Stay uptodate with the latest trends and innovations in marketing communications and the tourism industry.
Represent STA at industry events and conferences in Turkey and the region.
Provide regular reports on marketing performance and insights to senior management.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in marketing communications preferably in the tourism or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Deep understanding of the Turkish market and consumer behavior.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant marketing tools.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
8+ years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in the tourism or hospitality industry. Proven track record of success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns. Deep understanding of the Turkey market and consumer behavior. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
