Job Description

The Role: Tester (Automation Job Operations)

We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Tester to join our Automation Job Operations (AJO) team. The Tester will be responsible for designing executing and documenting various tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the systems and processes under AJO. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated testing with a strong understanding of software development life cycles and best practices.

What Youll Do:

  • Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts to cover functional integration and performance aspects of the system.

  • Test Execution: Conduct manual and automated tests to validate functionality performance and usability of AJO systems.

  • Defect Reporting: Identify document and track defects using relevant tracking tools and collaborate with the development team for timely resolution.

  • Test Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline the testing process for recurring test cases.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers business analysts and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure testing aligns with project goals.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases results and defects ensuring transparency and reproducibility.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the AJO system meets company quality standards and client expectations and complies with relevant regulations.

  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to verify that fixes do not introduce new issues.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes tools and best practices within the team.

  • Troubleshoot campaigns or journeys issues and provide technical support to the marketing team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe certification in AEM or related technologies.

  • Experience with Adobe Target Adobe Analytics and other Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools

  • Familiarity with cloudbased systems and operations



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing Data Analytics or a related field. A master s degree is a plus.

  • 35 years of experience in Manual Testing specially in the field of customer journey or a related field.

  • Familiarity with Automation Job Operations (AJO) tools and processes is a plus

  • Handson experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium JUnit or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes

  • Understanding of AEP Data model and SQL is a plus.

  • Proficiency in creating Test Plan and Journey Test Cases.

  • Journey testing experience in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) or any equivalent marketing tool.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

  • A customercentric approach with a passion for enhancing the customer experience.

  • Strong problemsolving abilities and a keen attention to detail.

Customer Journey Mapping: Develop detailed customer journey maps to illustrate the end-to-end experience for various customer personas. Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improving the customer experience. Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze customer data (qualitative and quantitative) from multiple sources, such as CRM systems, customer feedback, web analytics, and social media. Develop insights from customer behavior data to inform business strategy and decision-making. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, and customer support) to align on key business goals and customer experience strategies. Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior management, to drive improvements in the customer experience. Monitor and measure the impact of improvements on customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue. Customer Feedback Management: Collect and analyze feedback from customers to understand their needs, preferences, and satisfaction levels. Implement feedback loops to ensure that customer input is regularly considered in business decisions. Technology and Tools Management: Utilize journey mapping tools, CRM platforms, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to gather and present customer journey insights. Stay up-to-date on new technologies and best practices in customer journey analysis.
