Roles and responsibilities

We are currently undertaking a comprehensive evaluation of our asset data to enhance its integrity and usability across our organization. This assessment involves a detailed examination of our existing data sources, formats, quality, and interdependencies to ensure we have a solid foundation for future operations.

A critical aspect of this initiative is collaborating closely with our SAP integration team and other functional departments to systematically classify and categorize all data associated with our assets. By establishing clear classifications, we can streamline data retrieval and usage across various teams.

Identifying key stakeholders and end users is essential to our strategy. Understanding who will utilize this asset data allows us to tailor our approach to meet their specific needs effectively. Once we have identified these users, we will finalize our methodology for data mining and collection to ensure it aligns with their requirements.

Our data collection efforts will encompass a broad spectrum of asset-related documentation, including technical drawings, bills of materials (BOM), technical specifications, reports, and comprehensive information about manufacturers and suppliers. This extensive data gathering will cover various domains such as mechanical, electrical, civil, systems, instrumentation, and controls, providing a holistic view of our assets.

Once we collect the necessary data, we will organize and report it in the required formats, ensuring accessibility and usability for all stakeholders. Our approach will involve continuous interaction with both technical IT teams and non-technical departments to facilitate efficient data mining and collection processes.

In addition, we will work closely with the IT and SAP integration teams to define the mapping between source and target data structures. This will involve a detailed analysis of fields, attributes, and relationships to ensure a seamless integration that supports our overall data strategy.

Effective communication is vital throughout this process. Our team will ensure that all parties involved are kept informed and engaged, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances our data management capabilities.
