Job Description


This is a competitive position. The hiring team will carefully analyze candidates including but not limited to: Multiple interviews Written Essays Working Interviews Etc.


Overview: Driven energetic reliable selfstarter who is capable of thriving in a competitive and fastpaced environment; whether working onsite at our headquarters located in Lacey s Spring AL or traveling. The Piper and Leaf sales team is the face of our company; primary responsibility is to create relationships with future Piper Partners. Our sales team members are expected to grow sales by identifying new accounts opportunities and increasing sales to existing accounts. Team members must have a positive attitude a growth mindset and a passion for customer service. Strong timemanagement skills initiative organization and accountability are also critical attributes.

Our Performance Expectations are

  • Creating a minimum of $3500 in sales per week
  • Identify create and connect with new leads markets and clients on a daily basis.
  • Contact pursue and close warm leads
  • Contact assigned current Piper Partners on a consistent and regular schedule at a minimum one time per month
  • Increase the number of items Piper Partners acquire from Piper and Leaf
  • Plan Multiday regional sales trips which requires efficient researching connecting and coordinating leads and customers into efficient routes.
  • Actively participate in seasonal trade shows involving travel across the country setting up and taking down booths preparing and serving samples talking with future and existing partners and recording their information for further followup.
  • Respond to emails texts and calls in a safe timely fashion
  • Continuously grow product and industry knowledge
  • Provide ongoing updates to the Wholesale Manager and update the CRM daily
  • Attend weekly department huddle and scheduled performance reviews
  • Resolve any customer complaints professionally and patiently
  • Establish and maintain good communication and a positive working relationship with the wholesale team
  • Handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially
  • Full availability to include occasional nights and weekends. Must be able to Travel.
  • Track and report sales accurately for payroll purposes biweekly

  • Must have the motivation and discipline to work with the team as well as independently in an efficient creative and consistent manner to achieve results.
  • Excellent computer phone/verbal inperson and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements
  • Bending stooping walking and standing for long periods at a time
  • Able to safely relocate up to 60 lbs. requiring pushing pulling lifting or carrying
  • Going up/down stairs ramps ladders and in/out of high vehicles multiples times
  • Usage of register/POS and bar equipment
  • Frequent receiving and sharing of detailed information that must be remembered & accurately processed through aural & written communication
  • Distinguishing with a degree of accuracy differences or similarities in intensity or quality of flavors/odors and need clarity of vision at near/far distances
  • Lifting/transporting hot items interacting with heated equipment steam hot wash water loud noise chemicals and other at risk conditions
  • Working with and around various herbs and fruits
  • Occasional warehousing and storage environment/duties
  • Clean Driving record and ability to drive company vehicles.
  • Use of pallet jack and wheeled dolleys
  • Ability to travel multiple days while also being able to perform engage and connect with clients and venues.
