Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Henderson NC in search of a highly talented Market Director of Ambulatory & Physician Services.
Job Summary:
The Market Director of Ambulatory & Physician Services will be responsible for leading the effective operation of designated clinics supporting hospital strategy and overseeing all aspects of clinic operations and growth. This seniorlevel position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and plays a crucial role in maintaining key metrics financial reviews and practice growth initiatives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the effective operation of designated clinics supporting hospital strategy and clinic operations
- Oversee all aspects of clinic operations and growth including maintenance of key metrics financial reviews and practice growth initiatives
- Interact regularly with providers ensuring standards of communication are met and developing strategy for clinic operational needs
- Prepare and review monthly reports with physicians/APPs including weekly financial performance reviews
- Conduct quarterly Physician Group meetings and attend various Physician Services meetings
- Prepare budgets evaluate historical performance generate goals for future achievement and perform action planning for variances
- Provide leadership to Clinic Administrators including performance management coaching and talent development
- Implement and manage Market Plan for new patients driving clinic growth
- Manage support staff within assigned clinic(s) including performance reviews and HRrelated matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree (MBA MHA MSN) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in physician practice management or similar healthcare setting with specific leadership experience
- Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or FACHE certification preferred
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Advanced business mathematical skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong project planning and organization abilities
- Excellent independent judgment and decisionmaking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel 40% of the time
