Social Media Manager

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled SEO, content, and social media manager for an exciting long-term collaboration on our platform focused on blog and influencer marketing. This role will require approximately 30 hours of work each month and involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing our online presence and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SEO Management:

   • Monitor and analyze website performance, focusing on SEO metrics.
   • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-traffic opportunities.
   • Edit existing content to improve SEO effectiveness, ensuring it aligns with our overall strategy.
   • Note: Technical SEO responsibilities will be handled separately, in collaboration with other team members.

2. Content Creation:

   • Write 2-3 high-quality blog articles each month, ensuring they are relevant and optimized for SEO.
   • Perform thematic research to generate engaging and valuable content that resonates with our target audience.
   • Translate these articles into four additional languages using Deepl, followed by internal proofreading by native speakers to ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.

3. Marketing Campaign Development:

   • Develop promotional campaigns linked closely to blog articles, focusing on discount offers and other incentives to drive traffic and engagement.
   • Plan and execute effective email marketing strategies to reach our audience and promote our content.

4. Newsletter Creation:

   • Create and dispatch 2-3 newsletters or targeted customer mailings in German and other languages.
   • Ensure that the newsletters are engaging, informative, and drive traffic back to our website.

5. Social Media Management:

   • Develop and post 4-5 engaging posts per month on our Instagram and Facebook accounts.
   • Monitor social media interactions, responding to comments and engaging with followers to build community.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in SEO management, content creation, and social media marketing.
• Strong understanding of keyword research tools and SEO best practices.
• Excellent writing skills in German, with the ability to translate content into multiple languages effectively.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and best practices.
• Experience with social media strategy and content creation, particularly for Instagram and Facebook.
