• Migration Expertise: Ideally, you will have experience in migrating databases from Oracle to PostgreSQL. This skill is crucial as we aim to enhance our database infrastructure and streamline operations.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL is essential. Familiarity with tools like pgAdmin, psql, and other PostgreSQL utilities will be beneficial.

• Performance Tuning: You should have a solid understanding of database performance tuning techniques, including query optimization and indexing strategies.

• Security: Knowledge of database security practices, including user management and permissions, is important to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

• Documentation: Strong documentation skills are necessary for maintaining accurate records of database configurations, procedures, and updates.

• Language Proficiency: Very good knowledge of German is required for effective communication within our team and with stakeholders.
